Summer Competitions:
Monday Nights - SOCCER 5’S MEN’S & MIXED
Indoor Soccer (5 a side) is a popular game played around the world. This fast paced sport is ideal for those who want to increase their fitness level, coordination, balance and agility in a friendly and social environment.
THURSDAYS | SOCCER 6’S DOUBLE COURT
Double Court 6-a-side Indoor Soccer 20 week season + 3 weeks of top 8 elimination finals starting from October 12th and finishing March 18th Break from Christmas Holiday's from 15th December to January 14th.
Games are played between 6pm and 9:00pm and consist of 2 X 20 minute halves. Reserves can sub on and off at any time. Get your friends, workmates or some players from your outdoor team together and enter a team in one of our new seasons. It’s a great way to keep fit and an opportunity to make some new friends.
Our Indoor Soccer competitions are both competitive and social,
Our bar open and welcoming every night, it’s a great place to sit with your friends and family, to cool off and relax after exhausted from your game.
ABOUT THE GAME
The World Game has been tweaked, manipulated and re-invented so that it can be played on a double indoor soccer court. The end result is an exciting, fast-paced version of soccer, with more regular scoring and plenty of opportunity for players to show off some fancy footwork. If you've never played this version of soccer before, the basics are:
5 players per team, including keeper (up to 4 subs may also be used in any one game)
On our netted courts, the netting surrounding the court means there is no 'out-of-bounds', giving players a great workout as play never stops.
Each keeper has a 'goal semi-circle' surrounding his/her goal which only he/she may enter. All other players, offensive and defensive, must remain outside this goal semi-circle
In MIXED competitions, at least one player of the opposite gender must be on the court at all times
Each match consists of 2 x 20 minute halves
